Investigating dark energy by electromagnetic frequency shifts

چکیده
The observed red shift z might be composed by the expansion $$z_\mathrm{C}$$ and an additional frequency $$z_\mathrm{S}$$ , towards or blue, considering extended theories of electromagnetism (ETE). Indeed, massive photon theories—the has a real mass as in de Broglie–Proca theory effective standard-model extension, based on Lorentz–Poincaré symmetry violation (LSV)—or nonlinear may induce cosmological expansion-independent presence background (inter-) galactic electromagnetic fields, where relevance LSV even when both fields are constant. We have tested this prediction Pantheon Catalogue, 1048 SNe Ia, 15 BAO data, for different models characterised absence From we compute which values match observations, spanning parameters ( $$\Omega $$ densities Hubble–Lemaître constant) domains. conclude that can support alternative to accelerated expansion, naturally accommodating each SN Ia position distance modulus versus diagram, due light-path dependency . Finally, briefly mention laboratory test approaches investigate from ETE predictions.

Electromagnetic Dark Energy
We introduce a new model for dark energy in the Universe in which a small cosmological constant is generated by ordinary electromagnetic vacuum energy. The corresponding virtual photons exist at all frequencies but switch from a gravitationally active phase at low frequencies to a gravitationally inactive phase at higher frequencies via a Ginzburg– Landau type of phase transition. Only virtual ...
متن کاملElectromagnetic energy transport in nanoparticle chains via dark plasmon modes.
Using light to exchange information offers large bandwidths and high speeds, but the miniaturization of optical components is limited by diffraction. Converting light into electron waves in metals allows one to overcome this problem. However, metals are lossy at optical frequencies and large-area fabrication of nanometer-sized structures by conventional top-down methods can be cost-prohibitive....
متن کاملHow Dark is ‘Dark’? Electromagnetic Interactions in the Dark Sector
We review the physical and cosmological consequences of two possible electromagnetic couplings to the dark sector: (i) a neutral lightest dark-matter particle (LDP) with nonzero electric and/or magnetic dipole moments and (ii) a charged next-to-lightest dark-matter particle (NLDP) which decays to a neutral LDP. For scenario (i) we find that a relatively light particle with mass between a few Me...
متن کاملControlling Energy Radiations of Electromagnetic Waves via Frequency Coding Metamaterials
Metamaterials are artificial structures composed of subwavelength unit cells to control electromagnetic (EM) waves. The spatial coding representation of metamaterial has the ability to describe the material in a digital way. The spatial coding metamaterials are typically constructed by unit cells that have similar shapes with fixed functionality. Here, the concept of frequency coding metamateri...
متن کاملRadiative energy shifts induced by local potentials
We study a specific correction to the Bethe logarithm induced by potentials which are proportional to a Dirac-δ function in coordinate space (“local potentials”). Corrections of this type occur naturally in the calculation of various self-energy corrections to the energy of bound states. Examples include logarithmic higher-order binding corrections to the two-loop self-energy, vacuum-polarizati...
